My name is Reetu Inamdar and thank you for reading about my experiences as I embark on this journey of blogging. As an independent SAP SD Consultant, I’ve navigated diverse industries—ranging from pharmaceuticals, high-tech manufacturing, wine and spirit production to life sciences. My career began early, fueled by a bold embrace of the “fake it till you make it” mindset. This journey has taken me from feeling the burden of imposter syndrome to confidently negotiating competitive salaries and projecting unwavering self-assurance in interviews.
With a background in Corporate Communications at Moody School of Communications in UT Austin, I’ve leveraged my skills to bridge the gap between clients and technical developers. Trust-building, effective communication, and the art of asking the right questions are just a few of the tools I’ve honed over the years.
I've had the unique opportunity to blend my professional life with my passions: traveling the globe and encouraging my creative outlet. This lifestyle has enriched my career and allowed me to embrace a dynamic, flexible way of working.
Through this blog, I aim to build a vibrant community of globe-trotting techies who, like me, juggle their careers with their love for exploration and consulting. Here, you'll find a space to connect with fellow consulting enthusiasts who are passionate about technology, travel, and design.
So, how does a communications major transition into a six-figure independent contractor with the flexibility to pursue passions and advocate for oneself? On this blog, I aim to unravel that story and empower other women in tech to build their brands with confidence. Remember, if you don’t advocate for yourself, who will? Join me as we navigate the intersection of technology, adventure, and storytelling, and celebrate the unique journey of blending professional success with personal passions.
